Posted 1613477880 (395 views)It's come to my attention that PVP within Zworld has quite a big flaw and noticeable exploit that can be taken advantage by anyone. That exploit being combat logging/disconnecting. This means when someone is engaged in combat, they can freely disconnect without punishment or a system in place to punish this unfair choice. Not only does the player who disconnected go unpunished, they keep their stuff and can join back when they feel like it. If the player who was fighting the disconnected player reports them, there is a possibility they could be dealt with via a banishment. It is unfair to the player who shot that player who chooses to disconnect, as they feel unrewarded and wastes ammo only for someone to disconnect and avoid death. I propose a system be in place, which when someone is shot by a player, both the shot player and the shooter are tagged with a timer. This will tick down when they are engaged in combat, recently shot someone or been shot by someone. If either player is to disconnect whilst the timer is active, two things could be considered:
The timer should be visible, appearing on the left side of the screen with a UI element looking like, 'COMBAT LOG TIMER: X:X'. The timer should be no longer than FIVE minutes. After the timer is up, the players engaged can freely disconnect. This idea should hopefully make PVP more enjoyable without the unfair exploit of disconnecting and being unpunished. โ๏ธ Sorry, you are not connected, join to leave a reaction
