Posted 1634090249 (268 views)About item stacking:
When you put something inside your backpack or a chest, it will not stack with another instance of that item if it is a stackable item. EX. 100 screws are inside a chest. If I put 50 screws inside the chest, it will not stack. Instead, it will take up another storage slot. This makes no sense. In order to fix this, I have to take out the screws so they stack with what I am already carrying, and THEN put them into the chest. This way, they will stack properly. This is unnecessary hassle. About stack splitting: Why am I unable to take a specific amount of an item from a chest or my backpack? Let's say I am carrying 120 shotgun shells in my backpack. I am unable to take out only 30 shotgun shells out of my backpack. I must take out ALL of them, drop what I don't need on the ground, and then put those shells back into my backpack. Why can't I just take out 30 shotgun shells specifically? Adding better item stacking and adding stack splitting would help with organizing your backpack and chests, and also help avoid unnecessary hassle. ๐1

Napalm Posted 1634090511Wait, can I not edit my topic?
I forgot to add: You can fill a backpack up completely by putting singular items inside them, like ONLY 1 nail, ONLY 1 9mm bullet, because the same items cannot stack with each other in any kind of container or backpack. EX. an entire chest filled with 1 nail per storage slot. |
