If a horde decides to randomly attack you, OR you accidentally set off a car alarm and a horde attacks you, then depending on the area the zombies will do one or both of the following: They will spawn somewhat nearby and attack you (normal behavior) They will spawn inside vehicles, walls, etc. (common in certain areas on rp_southside_day, less common on other maps) Additionally, no matter how many zombies it says are in the horde, about 50% of the time you will never see that many zombies attack you. EXAMPLE: I get attacked by a horde of 100 zombies. I only manage to kill around 30 or so before they just stop attacking me, even if there are 70+ zombies left in the horde. Did they just not spawn, or what? This issue seems to happen if the horde is more than 30-40 zombies large. It almost never happens if I get attacked by a horde of 30 or less. I've even been attacked by a horde of over 1000 zombies on several occasions, but never seemed to kill more than 30 or 40 at a time. This issue also depends on the area and map the horde attacks you in. For example, I was attacked by a horde on gm_fork in the city and it actually spawned the 40 or so zombies it said were attacking me. Another zombie spawning issue: Sometimes you can see zombies spawn RIGHT IN FRONT of you. In fact, I've nearly been killed because a zombie literally SPAWNED INSIDE me. This happens during hordes most commonly, but it happened once when I was just running around on rp_rockford. Maybe implement a "no-spawn" zone around the player that prevents zombies from spawning within a certain distance of the player?
